Operational considerations

Lamp installation: before installing or disassembling xenon lamp, the power supply and instrument power switch of the safety break switch must be turned off.

Cooling cycle: when the test stops, the instrument starts a cooling cycle lasting for two minutes to cool the xenon lamp and reduce the humidity of the test chamber. Do not open the door of the test chamber until the cooling cycle is over.

Hot surface! During the test, condensation causes hot water to accumulate on the inside of the test chamber door. After the test, please open the door of the test box carefully.

Xenon lamp: do not operate xenon combustion tube or glass filter with bare hands. Skin oil is deposited on it and burned into the glass. Hold the lamp with cotton or rubber gloves. If the glass has been in contact with the skin, clean it with optical glass cleaner.

Lamp lead: when the lead is disconnected, do not attempt to ignite the lamp, otherwise it will form an arc and damage the instrument.

Exhaust system: do not connect this aging testing machine directly to any existing exhaust system. Otherwise, the instrument may be damaged by suction pressure or back pressure and the test may be invalid.

Oil-water separator: in order to prevent contamination of samples, compressed air can only be supplied to this instrument through industrial-grade oil-water separator (user-supplied).
