Introduction to fabric thickness gauge

In the test principle, the sample is placed on the reference plate, and the pressure is exerted on the sample with the presser foot, and the distance between the presser foot area of the contact sample and the reference plate is measured, that is, the thickness value.

Replacement of pressure foot

According to the standard and special requirements, there may be different pressure foot need to choose different pressure foot.

In the shutdown state, screw down the presser foot, screw on the replacement presser foot, and then start the machine for normal test.

Test steps

Notes before use of digital display indicator table

If there is dirt on the measuring rod, it will affect the movement of the measuring rod, so please use a clean cloth without oil before use

Wipe clean. Do not grease the measuring rod.

Please use a soft dry cloth to clean the case, if there is serious dirt on the case, please use a damp cloth containing neutral cleaner

Wipe, do not throw volatile solvent such as diluent, so as not to damage the shell.

Unauthorized personnel should not disassemble and repair the digital display indicator to avoid damage to the indicator.

Test steps

Short press the ZERO/ON key ON the digital display table to open the digital display table.

After the instrument is placed horizontally, press ZERO/ON to clear the digital display meter.

Lift the presser foot and place the fabric under the presser foot, lower the presser foot and place the weight on the presser foot.

Start stopwatch and read within 5±1s.

The number of measuring points per leather is selected according to different criteria.
