Introduction to JIS friction fastness tester

Native Japanese industrial standard JIS friction fastness tester based on textile color fastness to rubbing fastness test method of the test method of (JIS L 0849) specified in the friction tester Ⅱ form (learn vibration shape) is a standard machine. Mainly used to evaluate and judge the color fastness to friction of dyed fiber products. This instrument is also suitable for flocking strength test of cloth, friction and decolorization test of artificial leather, friction and abrasion test of board, printing ink and paint, etc. It is a friction testing machine which can be used for many kinds of materials.

The test principle of

In friction fastness tests: about 220 * 30 mm sample installed in the sample stage, about 50 * 50 mm friction with white cotton cloth (dry or wet state) installed in the front of the various friction head, under the weight of 2 n, at a speed of 30 per minute reciprocating do on 120 mm distance between 100 reciprocating motion, then white cotton cloth to remove, and assess the generalization of the grey CARDS are compared.

In the test of rubbing fastness with organic solvent, the color fastness of the simulated fabric is washed with organic solvent. Test method for

In a standard JIS L0849 (Ⅱ) as an example, introduces the use of the instrument.

Sample preparation

The size of the sample is about 220*30mm, and it is cut in parallel with the meridional and zonal directions. The size of white cotton cloth for friction is about 50*50mm.

When the sample is silk, rectangular plates of about 220*30mm are used, which are tightly wound in a thin layer according to the direction of the long side, or used as samples after appropriate weaving.

During the drying test, the sample and white cloth for friction should be prepared in advance under standard conditions for more than 4 hours.

During the wetting test, the friction cloth is moistened with water to make it reach the wetting state of 100%. The sample is prepared under the standard state.

Note:

Standard state of the sample: the sample is prepared to be dried (40±5℃ desiccant), and the moisture content reaches below the fixed water content, and then put into the laboratory or device in the standard state (temperature 20±2℃, humidity 65±2%), so as to reach the constant weight state.

Standard of constant weight of the sample: when placing the sample in the laboratory and device in the standard state, the mass shall be measured at intervals of more than 1 hour when the sample is weighed continuously. When the quality difference before and after the sample is less than 0.1% of the next weighing.

Sample installation: first, fix one end of the sample with the inside sample fixture, and then fix the other end with the front sample fixture. In order not to relax the specimen, slightly tighten the specimen and fix it. When the specimen is a tensile specimen, double-sided tape can be used to fix it on the test bench. In addition, since it is difficult to install the sample when the sample bench stops at the inside position, press the inching button and then move it to the front position of the hand.

White cotton cloth for mounting friction: lift the friction head bracket and rest it on the rear pole. Spread white cotton cloth over the friction surface and fix it with square spring clamps. Please note that no wrinkles should appear on the white cotton cloth at this time.

Lower the friction head bracket on the sample table. Please make sure that the friction head bracket is put down when the sample table is in the front of the hand. If it is not in the front of the hand, press the inching button to move it to the front of the hand and then put down the friction head bracket.

Turn on the power switch and set the counter times.

Inching start button, the machine starts reciprocating motion, automatically stop when reaching the set number. If you want to stop the test halfway, please press the stop button.

Judge the test results: after the test, judge the rubbing white cotton cloth according to 9 of JIS 0801 (determination of dyeing fastness). (compared with the gray sample card for color evaluation)

Matters needing attention

Please pay attention to the following points when learning and using the instrument:

Please pay full attention to the operation of the machine, do not touch the sample and test bed and other moving parts, so as not to hurt fingers.

When lowering the friction head support to the sample table, it should be carefully placed. When put down forcefully, it will cause concave or scar on the surface of the test bench.

The stop button is not normally used. Please use it when you need to stop the operation during the experiment.
