    Scope of application:

    Electric yarn twist tester, which can detect twist of single yarn or plied yarn, used to measure twist of cotton, wool, hemp, chemical fiber and other yarn. Fan arm twist tester, suitable for traditional or no twist/double twist test method. Test length up to 50cm/ 20in (S&Z twist).

    Product details:

    This instrument is composed of control box (digital display), tension mechanism, yarn holder and other components. The rotation direction, rotation speed, start and stop of the untwisting chuck of the main engine are controlled by the control box. The distance of the instrument is adjustable, the tension is applied by the vertical pointer lever during the test, and the zero stop adopts photoelectric sensor.

    Yarn twist method test method:

    1. Test process analysis of direct untwist method

    Test process: the sample is clamped between two grippers with a clamping length of 250mm, and the pretension is calculated according to (0.5±0.1) cN/ Tex. Untwist the sample until it is possible to shift the unrotated gripper of the analytical needle to the rotating gripper (with a magnifying glass if necessary), ensuring complete untwist. Read twist number n, then twist Tt=n/2.5 (twist /10cm).

    2. Test process analysis of single untwist and twist method

    Test process: place the sample between the grippers with a holding length of 250mm, with a limit length of 4mm (to prevent yarn breakage due to stretching), and calculate the pretension as 1.83aunt nt-1.42cn according to the following equation. Untwist and reverse twist the sample until the original clamping length is restored, and read a rotary reading n. The twist of the sample Tt=n/5 (twist /10cm).

    Test analysis: two samples are used for each test, the clamping length is 500mm, the limit length is 5mm, and the pretension is calculated by 0.5cN/ Tex. The first sample was untwisted and reversed twisted until the original clamping length was restored, and n1 was read as a rotary reading. Then the second sample was first retrenched and the counter was reset to zero, and then the counter was reversed twisted until the original clamping length was restored. The twist measured in this test was Tt= (n1-n2)/ 10 (twist /10cm). In practice, you can test a batch of data and get an average value, which is the reading n1.

    4. Test and analysis process of triple untwist and twist method

    Test process: the sample is sandwiched between two chucks with a clamping length of 500mm and a limit length of 5mm. The preadded tension is calculated according to 1cN/ Tex. Untwist and reverse twist the sample continuously until the original clamping length is restored. The counter reading should be read after each operation, and then the reversing wrench should be shifted and the counter reset before the next untwist and twist operation. Read A after the first untwist and twist operation, take B 'after the second untwist and twist operation, and write down C' after the third untwist and twist operation. Set B=B '-a, C=C' -b. The twist measured in this test is Tt=(a-2b C)/200 (twist /10cm).
