The installation
Place the instrument on a horizontal surface after unpacking. The room should be clean and well ventilated. Do not install instruments in toxic environments. Insert the power connector into the back of the instrument, connect the power and ensure the grounding.

Instrument preheating
The use of sublimation/ironing color fastness meter temperature accurate control, can achieve a variety of standard testing. Preheat the upper and lower plates before the test to ensure stable temperature and meet the standard requirements.
Install the power cord, turn on the toggle switch, light up the temperature control meter and timer, set the test temperature according to the test content, close the upper cover plate, and start heating the upper and lower plates.
Dry heat/sublimation resistance test
1. Before the test, select and set the test time (usually 30s) and test temperature according to the standard and sample types, and preheat the machine.
2. According to the requirements of the test standards, prepare the samples of the cut dry samples in accordance with the standard method (in the standard test, in order to ensure the accuracy of pressure above the fabric, please strictly follow the specifications of sample placement in the manual when carrying out the multi-sample test).
3. After the preheating of the machine reaches the set temperature, open the upper panel and press the timer switch.
4. Put the prepared samples into the plate to ensure that it is flat and the timer starts automatically after the panel is covered.
5. When the set time is reached, the buzzer will sound, turn off the timer switch, open the upper cover plate and take out the sample.
6. Repeat steps 2-5 if necessary
7. After the test, the sample was compared with the corresponding gray card to evaluate the color change grade; Compare the cotton fabric with grey card to get the contamination level.
Color fastness to hot pressing/ironing
Test the degree of color change and color transfer of the fabric after hot pressing. Hot pressing fabrics can be dried, moistened and moistened, usually determined by the ultimate use of the textile.

Before the test, select and set the test time (usually 15s) and test temperature according to the standard and sample type, and preheat the machine.
Note: when the instrument is preheated, do not turn on the timer switch, or the timer will automatically time after the cover is closed.
According to the test standard requirements, asbestos board, flannel, dry or wetted samples and coated white cotton cloth stacked according to the requirements.
After the preheating of the machine reaches the set temperature, open the upper panel and press the timer switch.
Put the stacked samples in one time to ensure the flatness. The timer starts automatically after the panel is covered.
After reaching the set time, the buzzer will sound, turn off the timer switch, open the upper cover plate and take out the sample.
In order to keep the temperature stable, if the interval between tests is long, please close the upper and lower cover plate.
Note the high temperature burn during the test
Repeat steps 2-5 if necessary.
After the test, the sample was compared with the corresponding gray card to evaluate the grade of color. Compare white cotton cloth with grey card to get contamination grade.
Dimensional stability test
The stability of the fabric at melting temperature was evaluated by comparing the changes of length and width of the fabric before and after hot pressing treatment at a certain temperature.
The following is an example of M&S P10 standard to introduce the experimental method.
Cut the fabric to 20×20cm.
The test temperature shall be determined according to the heat-resistant properties of the fabric, and the test temperature shall be set to 30s.
After the preheating of the machine reaches the set temperature, open the upper panel and press the timer switch.
Place the sample into the plate to ensure that it is flat. The timer will start automatically after the panel is covered.
After reaching the set time, the buzzer will sound, turn off the timer switch, open the upper cover plate and take out the sample.
The size of the fabric after the test was measured with a scale with an accuracy of 1 mm, and the rate of size change was calculated.
Repeat steps 3-6 if necessary.

The instrument needs only simple maintenance.
Ensure the test environment is clean and dust-free, especially the upper and lower panel of the instrument and the remaining wadding around it should be cleaned after the test.
