The decorative performance of the coating is a comprehensive index, which is related to the smoothness, luster and fullness of the coating.

QYG type coating fresh reflection instrument is an ideal instrument to measure coating decoration performance. It can grade the coating film, especially the surface of luxury car, and measure the fresh reflection data simply and intuitively.

Ii. Main structure and working principle

Type QYG film enantiometer is a portable instrument combining photoelectric and photoelectric, whose principle is to reflect the digital number on the digital plate in the observation hole through the light irradiation and the reflection of the measured surface. The purpose of measuring the decorative performance of the coating surface is to read out the DOI value of the fresh reflection level through the naked eye observation of the surveyors. The higher the DOI value, the better the fresh reflection value.

Iii. Requirements for use:

1. Power supply: 4 Dc6V, 600Ma, 1# batteries (self-provided) or externally connected.

2. Operating environment:

A. temperature 0-40°C.

B. Relative humidity is no more than 85%.

C. The surface area of the measured object shall not be less than 60mm*60mm.

D. The surface of the measured object is flat.

Iv. Operation and usage

1. Open the cover and install the battery or plug in the external power.

2. Press the power switch, then observe the voltmeter, turn the voltage adjustment knob, and make the pointer in the position of 6V. If the pointer cannot be adjusted to 6V (less than 6V) after adjustment, the battery should be replaced.

3. Put the standard reflector plate on the table, align the measurement window at the bottom of the instrument with the standard reflector plate, and then press the power switch to observe the digital plate reflected on the standard reflector plate from the eyepiece tube, and confirm that the DOI value of 1.0 on the digital plate can be clearly read.

4. Place the instrument on the surface of the measured object, make the measuring window face the measured object, press the power switch, observe the reflected number from the eyepiece tube, and read the DOI value number clearly.

5. Repeat the measurement for 5 times and take the average value as the result.

Note: the tester should be someone who can clearly read DOI 1.0 on the reflector.

V. maintenance and repair

1. Press the power switch to adjust the voltage. If the specified voltage is not reached, the battery should be replaced.

2. When using the instrument, handle it gently and do not knock or vibrate violently.

3. The standard reflector shall be properly stored after use and shall not scratch the surface.
