    Introduction of synthetic blood penetration tester for surgical mask

    Synthetic blood penetration tester for medical mask is used to measure the penetration of synthetic blood isoliquid source liquid injection to evaluate its safety protection performance.  

    Applicable standards:

    Gb19083-2010: technical requirements for medical protective masks;

    YY 0469-2011: surgical masks for medical use;

    YY/ t0691-2008: test method for synthetic blood penetration resistance of medical masks to infectious pathogen protection equipment (fixed volume, horizontal injection);

    ISO 22509:2004; F1862 / F1862M - 2013

    The main purpose

    It is suitable for the measurement of synthetic blood spray penetration resistance of medical mask. It can be used by medical inspection departments, safety inspection departments and scientific research institutions.

    The principle of

    The medical mask sample was supported on the test device, and 2mL of synthetic blood was sprayed horizontally to the tested mask from the sleeve with inner diameter of 0.84mm at a distance of 300mm. Simulate the scene where the mask is sprayed with blood from perforated vessels and observe the penetration of synthetic blood on the other side of the mask.

    The liquid injection pressure corresponding to the liquid injection velocity of 450cm/s, 550cm /s and 635cm /s was used to test the medical mask samples. The test results of each injection velocity were recorded, and the zuigao blood pressure corresponding to the acceptable mass level limit of 4 was given.

    Test steps

    Hold the handle of the sample holder at the upper left of the instrument, and pull the sample holder to the left. The samples (standard requires samples to be taken from the pre-treatment chamber within 60s for testing) are fixed on the sample clip. If the mask has folds, the folds are expanded and fixed on the sample clip to ensure that the target area is a single-layer material and the sample center is the test target area. Close the sample holder.

    Press the "start" button. At this time, a certain amount of synthetic blood ((surface tension)) (0.042±0.002) N/m mill) (surface tension) (0.042±0.002) sprays horizontally into the mask under test behind the target. At the same time, the timer starts to time, and when the injection time is set, the instrument automatically stops spraying.

    After 10s, the buzzer will sound, press "stop" button, and pay attention to check whether there is synthetic blood on the observation surface of the sample.

    An experiment is over. If you need to continue the test, repeat steps a-c until you have completed all the tests.

    After all the tests are completed, remove the residual synthetic blood liquid in the test tank, replace it with distilled water, and clean the whole pipeline. When the nozzle spurts out clean water, continue to drain all the clean water in the test tank. Close the outlet valve of air compressor and turn off the power switch. Clean the residual liquid tray, clean up the work table, clean up the distilled water in the test tank.

    Fixed target test

    First, close the outlet valve of the air compressor, turn on the air compressor, and wait for the air compressor to reach the predetermined pressure. Cut off the air pressure mechanical and electrical source, close the air source switch, open the outlet valve and pull up the valve head of the filter pressure reducing valve on the left side of the instrument. According to the direction of the valve head, the direction of "+" is for pressurization, and the direction of "-" is for pressure reduction adjustment, so that the pressure gauge of the filter pressure reducing valve shows 0.2mpa. Install the positioning target so that the distance between the back of the positioning target and the mask sample is 10mm. Tighten the positioning screw on the guiding plate at the bottom of the positioning target.

    Rotate the air source switch on the left side of the instrument to close (vertically closed), turn on the power switch, and press the "upper test liquid" button. Pay attention to the return pipe above the test liquid box, and if there is an outflow of test liquid from the return pipe, immediately press the "upper test liquid" button. The upper test fluid is finished.

    After determining the distance from the nozzle to the mask as (300±10)mm with the positioning ruler, fix the positioning target seat with screws.

    Turning the instrument on the left side of the gas source switch level (knob), adjust the precision pressure reducing valve at the top of the instrument, follow the instructions of the valve head, "+" direction for pressurization, "-" direction for the reduced pressure adjustment, adjust the pressure gauge pressure reference table 2, will be on the front panel "injection time" timer set to 1 min or longer time, press the "start" key, loosen the nozzle positioning screw, up and down or so adjust the nozzle, take the ejected test flow alignment positioning on the target plate holes center point-blank shaped, tighten the set screw, press the "stop" key.

    For test liquids with a density of 1.005g/mL, the relationship between pressure and flow rate of the pressure gauge is shown in table 2.

    Set the timer of "spraying time" on the panel to 1s, press "start" button, stop spraying after testing the liquid for 1s, and weigh the mass of the liquid ejected from the nozzle with a balance to ensure that the mass of the liquid ejected is within the range given in table 2. If not within the range, the pressure value can be fine-tuned (refer to 6.2.4 for the method of liquid aiming at the target hole) to make the liquid quality through the target hole within the range given in table 2.

    The relationship between pressure and injection time in the reference pressure gauge is shown in table 3. Under different pressures, the injection time should be adjusted so that the volume of the liquid flowing through the target hole three times in a row is 2mL, and the mass of the test liquid with a density of 1.005g/mL is 2.01g. If the volume of liquid ejected from the nozzle (from the place where the sample is placed) is not 2mL, the injection time can be adjusted appropriately to ensure that the volume of liquid through the target hole is 2mL. (three sets of samples corresponding to the three injection speeds of 450 cm/s, 550 cm/s and 635 cm/s should be prepared for the test, and the test should be conducted at different injection speeds to evaluate the synthetic blood penetration resistance of the sample), and then the test should be conducted according to the following steps.

    Test steps

    After 10s, the buzzer rings, press "stop" button to open the sample holder. The presence of synthetic blood on the observation surface of the sample was examined under appropriate light conditions.

    An experiment is over. If you need to continue the test, repeat steps a-c until you have completed all the tests.

    After all the tests are completed, remove the residual synthetic blood liquid in the test tank, replace it with distilled water, and clean the whole pipeline. When the nozzle spurts out clean water, continue to drain all the clean water in the test tank. Close the outlet valve of air compressor and turn off the power switch.
