    The test principle of

    Using the environment

    1. The instrument should be placed on a flat and stable platform (or foundation).

    2. No strong magnetic field or vibration source around the instrument.

    3, indoor atmosphere without corrosive medium, no large particle dust, stable airflow.

    4. Environment: temperature: 20±3℃, humidity: RH :≤65%

    5. The power supply is Ac220V±10V and 50Hz with good grounding. For areas with large fluctuation of external power supply, it is recommended to use the power regulator (AC220±1% 2kw).

    debugging

    1. The instrument should be leveled before working. The specific operation is to rotate the adjustable foot to make the instrument level.

    2. Check whether the fixed value ring of the sample is tightened and whether the air tightness ring is close to the two bonding surfaces.

    3, check whether the head can control the head up and down flexibly.

    4. Check whether the suction hose and flow cylinder are tightly connected with the suction fan.

    5, check the flow cylinder on the door cover and lock can be closed.

    1. Prepare the sample as required and cut it to the specified size.

    2. Select the sample setting ring and install it on the instrument.

    3. Select nozzle.

    4. Switch on the power of the instrument.

    7. The instrument will automatically press the sample and start the test. When the pressure difference reaches the set point, the sample will be released automatically, and the instrument will automatically convert the test result and stop.

    8. Conduct the test of the next sample until the effective test number reaches the requirement (the current number of tests on the display screen) and conduct data processing according to GB/T 5453-97.

    9. Test results can be observed on the breathable volume/pressure difference display screen or printed.

    10. After the test, turn off the power supply, clean the instrument and all accessories, remove the fixed value ring and put it into the spare parts drawer.

    Matters needing attention

    1. The instrument is of high precision equipment. Collision and severe turbulence are strictly prohibited in the process of moving and transporting.

    2. The instrument is relatively accurate when leaving the factory, and non-professionals are not allowed to repair the internal parts of the instrument.

    3. Instrument accessories (nozzle, nozzle seat and orifice plate, sample setting ring) are directly related to the test accuracy, and it is not allowed to wipe directly with cloth. If there is any contamination, dust on the surface shall be blown by ear ball.

    4. Do not touch the sample during the test to avoid affecting the breathability of the sample.

    5. The selection of nozzle diameter should be based on the breathability of the sample. For the sample whose breathability is not clear, it is necessary to conduct several tests to make it more accurate to reflect the breathability of the sample.

    6. The filter screen in the air flow measuring cylinder shall be cleaned regularly according to the use frequency.

    7. If the instrument is tested for a long time, the pressure difference value is not stable and the noise of the fan is too large continuously, stop the machine to check the air tightness of each component or whether the selected test parts are within the range.

    8. For samples of different thickness, the position of the sample head should be adjusted to make it better compact the samples.

    9. The instrument test is related to atmospheric pressure of air. It is suggested to check the instrument every working day.

    10. There is a precision sensor in the air flow measuring cylinder. When replacing the nozzle and cleaning, the movement should be gentle to avoid accidents.

    11. The air tightness of each sealing joint directly affects the test accuracy, and should be carefully stained, deformed and damaged.

    12. Select nozzle number: it is recommended to make the dynamic pressure difference between 600 and 3000Pa to obtain more stable test results.
